Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms carefully. They govern your access to and use of FlightLinq websites, applications, and related services.
Last updated: September 14, 2025
1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, downloading or using the FlightLinq app or bridge, or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using FlightLinq on behalf of a virtual airline or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to the organization.
2. Services
FlightLinq provides virtual airline management software, including a companion bridge that transmits flight-related operational data from your local machine to our services. We may update features from time to time.
3. Accounts and Security
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected security incident.
4. Flight Data and Content
The FlightLinq bridge and apps transmit operational flight data (e.g., aircraft, routes, schedules, events, telemetry, simulated positions, and performance metrics). This data is not personal in nature and is used to provide the service to you and your organization. You retain your rights to your content and flight data; you grant FlightLinq a worldwide, non‑exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that data solely to operate and improve the services.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse the services, interfere with their operation, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not upload malicious code, infringing content, or data you lack the right to share.
- Comply with applicable laws and third‑party simulator/platform terms when using integrations.
6. Software; Updates
We may provide client software (including the bridge). We grant you a limited, revocable, non‑transferable, non‑exclusive license to install and use such software solely to access the services. We may push updates or patches; some features may not function without current versions.
7. Third‑Party Services
The services may interoperate with third‑party simulators, platforms, or plugins. FlightLinq is not responsible for third‑party services, their content, or terms. Your use of them is governed by their respective terms.
8. Privacy
Your use of the services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle account information, flight data, and analytics.
9. Intellectual Property
FlightLinq, our logos, and our content are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted, we and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the services.
10. Feedback
If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a royalty‑free, worldwide, transferable license to use them without restriction or compensation.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLIGHTLINQ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR‑FREE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLIGHTLINQ AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO FLIGHTLINQ IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold FlightLinq harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, risk harm to the services or others, or as required by law. You may stop using the services at any time. Some provisions (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification) survive termination.
15. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may modify the services or these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., via the site or email). Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law; Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where FlightLinq is organized, without regard to conflict of laws principles. The exclusive venue for disputes will be courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
